Circle of Life…Baby, Babies & Grand-Babies

My Mom’s little sister passed away last night, March 24th 2012.  Perlita (the family calls her Baby), with her Husband Roland

My Mom (bottom left), comes from a family of 12!  This family photo was taken in 2007 in the Philippines.   I think, this turns out to be their last family photo taken. My Auntie Baby with her Babies, Christmas 2011My Auntie Baby with her Grand-Babies

My Brother emailed me last night, that my Aunt had passed away.  Being in Oaxaca, Mexico right now, photographing on mission with Adventures in Life, I have to trust that God will take care of the family in this time of grief and that God will reveal His will for me as well as to if I need to leave early to head home…

At the same time, my friend Trevor is in the hospital with his wife Alicia, waiting for his baby daughter to be born…

I’m excited for Trevor and Alicia, and sad at the same time for my Mom and my Aunt’s family.

Que the music….that’s the circle of life.   Death is sad but at the same time, for those who know Christ there is Life!  Life Eternal!

This is Trevor and his boy Hayden…

53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15: 53-56 NIV
